A Mitutoyo water-resistant digital micrometer provided with disc-ended non-rotating spindle and anvil to enable measurement of shrouded features, such as gear teeth. The highly stable frame incorporates a heat shield to preserve accuracy over extended measuring sessions. A ratchet stop guarantees repeatable measurement. Digimatic data output.
