The WLI Plan Apo 5X is a precision plan apochromat objective developed for white light interferometry (WLI) applications. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the WLI Unit, this objective enables accurate surface profiling and high-resolution interferometric measurement.
Its optical design incorporates a beam splitter and reference mirror directly within the objective, enabling compact interferometric measurements without additional external optical components. An integrated interference fringe adjustment mechanism is included as standard, allowing precise alignment and optimisation during measurement.
The compact and lightweight construction, combined with a 60 mm parfocal distance, ensures efficient integration into interferometry systems while maintaining a working distance of 8 mm. With a numerical aperture of 0.28, the objective delivers strong resolution while providing a larger inspection field compared with higher magnification interferometric objectives.
