The WLI Plan Apo 2.5X is a precision plan apochromat objective designed for white light interferometry (WLI) applications. Developed to integrate seamlessly with the WLI Unit, it enables accurate surface profiling and interferometric measurement across larger inspection areas.
The objective incorporates a beam splitter and reference mirror directly inside the lens body, allowing interferometric measurements without the need for additional external optical components. An integrated interference fringe adjustment mechanism is included as standard, enabling precise alignment and measurement optimisation.
Its compact and lightweight design, combined with a 60 mm parfocal distance, allows efficient integration into interferometry systems while maintaining a generous 13 mm working distance. With a numerical aperture of 0.14, the objective is well suited for lower magnification interferometric inspection where larger fields of view are required.
Optimised for the visible spectral range, the WLI Plan Apo 2.5X is ideal for surface metrology, topography analysis, and precision inspection applications.
