The VMU-L4B is a high-performance reflected illumination unit designed for brightfield microscopy across a wide spectral range, supporting ultraviolet (UV), near-ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared radiation. This extended wavelength capability makes it ideal for advanced inspection, material analysis, and specialised imaging applications.
Featuring a telecentric illumination system with an aperture stop, the VMU-L4B provides uniform, controlled lighting across the field of view—essential for precision measurement and high-accuracy observation.
The unit is designed for use with a fibre-optic illuminator (required, optional accessory) and can also be configured with an optional 21V / 150W halogen light source. It is compatible with brightfield objective ranges including M Plan Apo, M Plan Apo SL, and G Plan Apo, offering flexible integration into a variety of microscope systems.
