M Plan Apo 2X Objective Lens (Brightfield, Wide Field, Long Working Distance)

The M Plan Apo 2X is a low-magnification 2x microscope objective designed for brightfield observation across the visible spectrum. With a long working distance of 34/30 mm, it is ideal for overview inspection, sample navigation, and imaging larger areas where maximum clearance is required.

This objective is infinity corrected and optimised across a wide wavelength range (436–656 nm) for consistent optical performance. With a numerical aperture of 0.055, it provides a wide field of view (up to ø12 mm using a ø24 mm eyepiece), making it a strong choice for general observation, alignment, and documentation.

Compatible with VMU / FS-70 / MF-U / Hyper MF-U microscope systems, the M Plan Apo 2X is a practical solution for wide-area inspection and low-power viewing.

Note: To avoid optical flare when using coaxial illumination, 1x objectives should be used together with a polarisation unit and an attached 1/4 wavelength plate.
