M Plan Apo 5X Objective Lens (Brightfield, Long Working Distance)
The M Plan Apo 5X is a precision 5x microscope objective designed for brightfield observation across the visible spectrum. With a long working distance of 36.5 mm, it is ideal for overview inspection, sample navigation, and measuring larger surface areas while maintaining excellent clearance between the objective and the sample.
This objective features an infinity-corrected optical design and is corrected across 436–656 nm for consistent image quality and reliable colour performance. With a numerical aperture of 0.14, it delivers a strong balance of resolution and depth of field, offering 2 µm resolving power and a depth of field of 14 µm—perfect for routine inspection and documentation work.
Compatible with VMU / FS-70 / MF-U / Hyper MF-U microscope systems, the M Plan Apo 5X is a dependable choice for wide-area brightfield observation.
Note: To avoid optical flare when using coaxial illumination, 1x objectives should be used together with a polarisation unit and an attached 1/4 wavelength plate.
