The MWT- 2600 is highly accurate Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge used to measure the thickness of metals and conductive materials without requiring direct contact or coupling gels. The probe generates ultrasonic waves at a material’s surface and analyses the echoes after they travel through the material and back to the surface using single echo (I-E) or dual echo (E-E) methods. Measurement results are displayed on the 2.4” colour LCD, view individual values or a moving plot of values for measuring thickness across a surface, or show the ultrasound waveform display to inspect the raw signal.

description

The MWT-2600 is highly accurate Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge used to measure the thickness of metals and conductive materials without requiring direct contact or coupling gels.

In addition to thickness measurements, the MWT-2600 can be used to monitor material integrity, or to detect corrosion, erosion, or wear. An optional high-temperature probe further increases the range of applications, the MWT-2600-01 probe is capable of measuring materials up to 800°C, for accurate measurements without the need to shutdown equipment or loose time waiting for cooling.
