description

P80 Ra is a non-flowing (pasty) product that can be applied to hard-to-reach surfaces (vertical, overhanging, etc.). It creates Semi-Rigid replicas (hardness 80 Shore A), which cannot be deformed when demoulded. Replicas made in P80 Ra do not accept any Extraction Constraint (0%).

The P80 Ra has been specially developed for Roughness Control. The surface roughness is perfectly restored, and can be measured directly on the impression using roughness tester or optical inspection device. This plastiform is specially designed to restore the roughness of a surface and is a good indicator of Ra. If you are looking for values related to Rt or Rz, use a non-contact measuring device instead.

The P80 can also be used to create partial impressions on simple external shapes. The impression is very precise but cannot be subjected to an extraction stress. We do not recommend cutting the impression of this plastiform with the Double Blade Cutter because it is too rigid.
